ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

  LLC ECOPET realizes that the operation of an enterprise may lead to negative environmental changes, have an adverse effect on the personnel and population health.  Therefore environment-related activity directed on minimization of environmental impact, personnel and population health protection and environmental safety ensuring is the top priority of LLC ECOPET along with the achievement of high economic performances and safe operation of the enterprise.   The key activity of LLC ECOPET is  the production film PET and rigid plastic package.   At the moment in the enterprise the whole complex of documents is prepared in conformance with up-to-date environmental legislation requirements of the Russian Federation.   The main principles and strands of the environmental policy of LLC ECOPET are as follows:  

• recognition of the constitutional human right to favourable environment;
• energy saving and rational use of natural and energy resources during production and recycling of the film PET;
• minimization of production waste and environmental safe waste treatment;
• conformity with legal and other requirements in the area of safety ensuring and environmental protection, strict performance by each employee of the norms and regulations that ensure safety of personnel and population and the environmental conservation;
• making of management and investment decisions on the basis of multiple-option scenarios of development taking into account environmental priorities;
• openness and accessibility of ecological information;
• performing of activities directed on achievement and maintenance of the high level of environmental safety, development of environmental management system;
• compliance with the process regulations during the operating processes, compliance with the regulations of pollution content set for discharge with sewage waters, release into the atmosphere, solid waste disposal;
• environmental activities planning, its subsidization, maintaining control of their execution;
• increasing of the level of awareness of environmental safety of the enterprise’s employees, development of the sense of responsibility for the state of environment of the personnel to inspire them to participate actively in the solving of environmental problems.

      The goal and tasks of LLC ECOPET environmental policy:   The goal of LLC ECOPET environmental policy is to ensure environmental safety and sustainable development of the enterprise during the production and recycling of f.ilm PET The top priority is to minimize the impact of production activity of the enterprise on the environment, personnel and population health. Solving of the following tasks is required to reach the stated goal:

1. Reduction of negative impact on the environment made by the enterprise:
   • Reduction of volumes released into the atmosphere.
   • Rational use of water resources.
   • Reduction of production wastes.
   • Increase of utilization of secondary raw materials, application of recycling and closed operating cycles.
   • Reduction of specific emissions, discharges of pollutants and wastes per article.
   • Reduction of energy loss in the heating systems.
2. Creation of the conditions and means providing minimization of negative impact on the environment made by the enterprise:
   • Development and adoption of technical regulations and standards of the enterprise.
   • Development of the enterprise management system in the area of environmental protection, natural management, prevention of emergency situations and emergency response, environmental management system implementation

  Commitments of the administration and personnel of the enterprise:   To reach the goal and realization of the main principles of the environmental policy LLC ECOPET enters into the following commitments:  

• to determine, identify and systematize possible negative environmental aspects of operation;
• to support activities in terms of environmental safety and environmental protection with necessary resources including personnel, finances, technologies, equipment and working time;
• provide openness and accessibility of objective, scientifically valid information about the impact on the environment and personnel and population health made by the enterprise in the place of its locality.

   

The administration and personnel of LLC ECOPET assume responsibility for realization of this Environmental Policy and consider ensuring of the environmental safety and environmental protection as an obligation of each employee.
